What is BIOBBQ

BIOBBQ cobs are quite literally dried, shelled corn cobs - exactly what's left on your plate after you've finished munching your sweet corn! When dried, these unassuming little cobs are actually a fantastic source of energy and make the perfect barbeque fuel.

BIOBBQ Cobs are also fully sustainable and unlike other biofuels do not detract from food production. Burnt only once (by you) the cobs have a much lower carbon footprint than charcoal and don't release any noxious chemicals, hydrocarbons or gases.

We believe that BIOBBQ cobs are important to the future of barbequing and we are proud to introduce them to the UK market.

easy

BIOBBQ cobs are easy to light and ready to cook on in just 10 minutes, making impromptu barbeques a breeze. Because they're ready to cook on so quickly BIOBBQ cobs are perfect for picnics and barbeques on the beach. Its also super easy to clean your barbeque afterwards as the cobs don't leave the black residue associated with charcoal.

easy

No more black marks! BIOBBQ cobs are clean and lightweight making them easy to transport and store. With no noxious smell, they can even be stored in your grocery cupboard. More importantly, they burn away to a light, clean ash which is great for your compost heap and leaves your barbeque spotless.

Much of the charcoal on sale in the UK today is imported from developing countries in Africa. At best, it has clocked up a big carbon footprint on the way to your local store and at worst it is the product of unregulated and devastating deforestation. BIOBBQ cobs are annually renewable and have lower CO2 emissions than charcoal.
